Black Student Union Invites Celebrated Black Artists for HS Assembly
During a recent HS assembly, the Black Student Union (BSU) invited three celebrated Black artists to participate in a panel discussion about history, culture, and the creative process.
Dalton alum King David ‘13, an esteemed visual artist, Nicole Jefferson Asher, a prolific film writer and producer, and Wes Jackson, the President of BRIC Arts & Media, shared their personal experiences working in their respective fields. They discussed how they have contributed to and been influenced by Black art culture.
