On Tuesday, April 2, students learned about the coffee-growing process from guest speaker Orly Ramirez, whose family grows coffee in Colombia. They learned about the arduous process that is required to bring coffee to our tables through a lecture accompanied by authentic photos - ¡todo en español! On April 3 and 4, students took a trip to the teaching kitchen to make and eat arepas con queso, a traditional snack from Colombia.
