6th Grade Writers Win Again!

The students of Dalton School have once again proven themselves as rising stars. The latest triumph comes from the Middle School ranks, where a trio of 6th Grade wordsmiths recently claimed victory in the prestigious Scholastic Scope writing contests.
Among the winners is Lorenzo “Lucky” Bellin ‘30, whose poem titled Ode to a Master Craft earned him acclaim in the February Scholastic Scope contest. Lucky's entry, an ode brimming with creativity, showcased his unique perspective and mastery of language. He was praised for his ability to infuse emotion and depth into his verses.

Joining Lucky in the spotlight are Zelda Lightman ‘30 and Samant "Sammy" Sen ‘30, whose impressive illustrations and command of the etymology of words secured them recognition in the Root Power contest.

The Dalton School community stands proud of its sixth-grade award-winning writers.
