After dining on fabulous food, everyone witnessed a moving and wonderful Rites of Passage circle, where Dalton Seniors sat in the inner circle, and their parents and community members sat in the outer circle. Each parent placed a stole on their Senior and gave them a few words of encouragement and love. The Seniors then imparted their own wisdom onto the 8th Graders in attendance, with helpful advice for the soon-to-be high schoolers. As you can imagine, there were lots of tears and lots of laughter throughout this amazing event.
