Dalton Parliamentary Debate Wins October Tournament
The High School Parliamentary Debate team won the finals of the New York Parliamentary Debate League’s October tournament at Hunter High School.
The team of Annika Maduraperuma ‘26 and Campbell Langdon ‘26 won the final round on the topic of a theoretical history/philosophy question. Meanwhile, Dalton’s first-year debaters Laila Sene ‘28, Astrid Lemons ‘28, Vedant Kotahwala ‘28, and Jasmine Chen ‘28 closed out the final round. The team is looking forward to the next tournament in November.
