Earlier this month, 29 Dalton students gathered at the Ethical Culture Fieldston School prepared to debate and negotiate in various crises, including the early warring states of China and conflicts tied to the Korean War. Izzy Canada ‘29, Theo Moore ‘29, Annika Rajaram ‘29, and Sassy Smith-Wang ‘29 were each awarded for their presentations. 

Later in March, 14 Dalton students attended the Horace Mann School conference. These students proved to be skillful in articulating their ideas, responding with plans to resolve conflict, and writing resolutions relative to Galactic Colonization and working for greater rights for women in developing countries. Annika Rajaram ‘29, Rayna tenOever ‘30, and Robert Zavala ‘29 received awards and commendations for their performances.
