After having studied Proust en français, they wrote original narratives in the form of a pastiche that described a taste that transported them back to childhood. Cooking with Chef Jaz in the Teaching Kitchen helped them search for Proust’s lost time. They recited the passages relevant to the recipe, cooked, smelled, dipped their madeleine in tea, and engaged in a sensorial experience they will surely remember.
