The first stop was a classroom visit where students proudly shared their work with their visitors. Afterward, in the gym, First Program Director Gillian Todd said that she learned Grandfriends are the students’ favorite co-conspirators who “give better treats” than their parents and let them “eat dessert before dinner”! Head of School José M. De Jesús observed no two stories are alike among Dalton families, and he hoped that visitors feel pride for everything they did to get their Kindergartener to Dalton. 

Before heading out, Grandfriends enjoyed the children's sweet, crowd-pleasing singing performance. Thank you to the First Program faculty and staff for helping make the day so memorable.
