Constitution Experts Visit Dalton for High School History Panel
In early June, the High School History and Social Science Department hosted its culminating event for students enrolled in World History I and World History II.
The event featured a panel discussion about the history and ongoing relevance of the United States Constitution with three renowned experts: Judge Ronnie Abrams '86 of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York; Jamal Greene, Dwight Professor of Law at Columbia Law School; and Rebecca Roiphe, Joseph Solomon Distinguished Professor of Law at New York Law School. Three ninth grade students authored questions posed to the panelists and facilitated the conversation. After the initial conversation, panelists engaged with insightful questions posed by members of the student audience.
