Babka & Coffee on Sukkot — Community, Conversation, and a Winning Babka
The Jewish Families & Culture Parent Group came together to celebrate Sukkot with a festive morning of community, learning, and (of course) babka!
Parents, faculty, and administration gathered to reconnect, meet new friends, and taste some of NYC’s best babkas — complete with a friendly competition to crown the favorite.
The morning also acknowledged the second anniversary of the October 7 attacks, reminding us how meaningful it is to gather, learn, and celebrate together as a community.
Thanks to everyone who joined, baked, and tasted — it was a great turnout and a fun way to mark the holiday (and settle once and for all which babka reigns supreme!). In the end, the one homemade babka entry took the top spot as the clear crowd favorite — for the second year in a row!
