New Episode of "José Makes a Lab" Podcast: "The Daltonian" Editors
We’re kicking off another year of the podcast “José Makes a Lab"! In this episode, Head of School José M. De Jesús sits down with the three talented Co-Editors-in-Chief of our student-run school newspaper, The Daltonian — Mira G. ‘26, Lylah P. ‘26, and Mujtaba R. ‘26.
For over 90 years, The Daltonian has amplified student voices and chronicled stories that have defined each generation. The newspaper is published seven times a year and features sections like News, Opinion, Arts, Sports, and even a satirical column entitled "DaltOnion"!
In his conversation with the co-editors, they share how they lead a large masthead, balance tight publication schedules, and thoughtfully address challenges facing modern journalism — from maintaining reader trust and upholding journalistic integrity to navigating the role, if any, AI has in reporting the stories that shape our community.
