MS Debate Team Triumphs at NYDL December Tournament
The Dalton Middle School Debate Team made an exceptional showing at the New York Debate League (NYDL) December Tournament, bringing home multiple individual awards and a major varsity team championship.
Individual award winners were Julian Silverman ’30 (tenth place), Teddy Pitluck ‘30 (tenth place), Meher Jetley ‘30 (eighth place), Jae Jinn ‘30 (seventh place), and Teddy Glazek ‘30 (fourth place).
A special congratulations to the Varsity Team of Sophie Yang ‘30, Jae Jinn ‘30, and Teddy Glazek ‘30, who earned first place in the varsity division, winning all four rounds and automatically qualifying them for the NYDL championships in the spring.
This competition marks the end for a strong fall season for the Middle School debate team. We look forward to their continued success in the months ahead!
