Filmmaker Sara Taksler Discusses Documentary with 8th Graders
Last week, filmmaker Sara Taksler joined 8th grade students at the Dalton Commons for a conversation about her new documentary "Stop the Ignorance," made for Holocaust education in schools.
Students had a chance to view the documentary that afternoon and reflect on its poignant and powerful messages with the filmmaker. The talk also commemorated Holocaust Remembrance Day, tying into students’ recent reading of Night by Elie Wiesel.
