Austin and Campbell’s team won the championship last year, and upon their return this year, finished as quarterfinalists after nine rigorous rounds of debate. In addition, Parli team captain Sam Worthington was recognized for his individual achievement and awarded seventh place overall speaker.

The team had a blast in San Diego, taking a break from debate rounds to enjoy the California sun and visit the sea lions at the Point of La Jolla.
