Dalton’s Model UN Team Takes Home the Best Delegation Award at Harvard Competition
Our Dalton Model UN team – which has become increasingly competitive in recent years – is currently undefeated! This fall, we won both conferences that we attended, and we have two more to go. For the first time ever, we won the Harvard competition, which is one of the largest and most competitive conferences in the country. Harvard brings together 2,500 high school students from around the world. At Harvard, Dalton’s individual delegates performed at an extremely high level, with 12 of our 17 seats (comprised of individuals or pairs) winning awards on their respective committees. Dalton had the highest winning percentage of any school, earning us the Best Delegation award. We received a 5-foot tall trophy that currently resides in our Head of School's office. Following this exciting victory, the team looks forward to our next conference at University of Pennsylvania with the distinct possibility of being the first undefeated Model UN team in Dalton history!
