The m.s. tiger trackies had a wonderful day at the Gotham games competing against over 20 schools in the Metropolitan and AAIS divisions. The girls and boys qualified in 10 out of 11 events which included the long jump, 80 meter hurdles, 200, 800, 300 meter hurdles, shotput, mile, 100, 400 , 4 x100, and 4 x400 relays.  22 qualifying spots were secured for the championship round at the Gotham Games.  Jack Ott took a 3rd place podium spot with an impressive 5:19 mile and Parker Zhao represented the boys with a gutty performance in the 800 and long jump. The girls, for a second consecutive year, ruled the day and demonstrated versatility and discipline throughout this championship event! Nora Buccino was outstanding, taking gold in the 80 and 300 meter hurdles and tacked on a bronze in the long jump. Malina Buturovic demonstrated great endurance with the gold in the mile and a bronze in the 800.  Taylor Wright was our sprint specialist, taking the bronze in the 100, placing in the 200, anchoring our 4 x100 relay team and placing in shot put.  Courtney Davis took the silver in the 80 meter hurdles, Madeline Finkel placed in the 80 and 300 meter hurdles, Sophie Edelstein placed in the 400 and they combined to make up our solid 4 x100 relay team.  A fantastic season and many more to follow!
