Maintenance Supervisor, Slawek Szczepankowski, assigned nimble and amiable staff member, Simeon Muncan, to gently remove the heavy brass letters and massage the familiar and weathered cocoa-brown paint down to its underlying zinc metal sub derma. The letters enjoyed a warm soak in anti-oxidant scrub solution to remove the telltale signs of age. Then, the smiling Simeon applied three fresh coats of enamel to finish the pediment-cure and went about the task of replacing each of the letters with a judicious amount of silicone. Ageless, The Dalton School sparkles again!
