The 5th grade and their HAs recently imitated the ancient Mesopotamians by making mud bricks as part of their study of that culture in LASS  They were assisted by New Lab member and Archeoloigist Paul Zimmerman who helped students understand archeological methods as well as ancient Mesopotamian architecture. The students not only gained a new appreciation for the skills of the ancients but also their efficiant use of available resources.
