Dalton Robotics Teams Qualify for NYC Championship

Last month four Dalton middle school robotics teams competed at the annual Manhattan FLL Tournament at City College. Two teams, consisting of mostly 2nd year FLL students, won awards for 3rd Place in Robot Performance and 3rd Place Overall, qualifying them for the NYC Championship at Javits on Saturday, March 9th.

Our two rookie teams performed well and blew away expectations, almost coming away with awards themselves. As with any challenging endeavor, the season has been filled with excitement and frustration, but hopefully a great learning experience for all. Please come show your support at Javits next month. The high school FTC team will compete on Friday and the two FLL teams will compete in the middle school championship on Saturday.
