With only a tiny bit of cool mist falling from the gray and threatening April-like skies, parent volunteers, Middle School students and First Program families happily buttoned up and enjoyed the annual Spring Fair in its rightful location; the block between Park and Madison, on 91st Street.
This year, a few tents appeared as a precaution and some of the usual outdoor features such as games, cotton candy, chess, facepainting and other attractions were neatly tucked into the FP Gym and 51 East Lobby. Among other tempting delights, the appearance of a robotic tiger ride provided an joyful high-tech novelty, which children could obviously not wait to ride.
