Magic at Dalton
Magic was on full display at Dalton this week. Brooklyn based magician Vinny DePonto wowed a crowd of high school students and faculty at this week’s High School Assembly. Mr. DePonto garnered looks of bewilderment and puzzlement as he dazzled the crowd throughout his performance.
The students and staff were not just observers of his performance but quite a few were called to the stage to be participants as well. Vinny performed quite an array of tricks using playing cards, wallets and even cell phones. His final trick involved inviting Dalton teacher Steve Bender on stage for a card trick that wowed the crowd. After he finished his act he held a question and answer session from the eager audience. He imparted some very good advice to the students who were interested on magic and being on stage. It was a magical Wednesday morning at Dalton.
