Both Youthful and Seasoned Poets Participate in Annual Poetry Reading
A group of Dalton poets including Middle School and High School students, faculty, and staff gathered in the High School Library on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, for Dalton's Annual Poetry Reading. The event was hosted by High School English teacher, Will Fisher and Poetry Club President, Emma Levine. Every year, the event gives aspiring and established Dalton poets a chance to read their original pieces, as well as works by other beloved writers.
The warm spirit of art and community was palpable, especially with the welcome inclusion of middle students, who went forth unafraid to share their poems with more experienced writers. Everyone in attendance had a fantastic time.
