Girls Varsity Basketball Wins and Watches Dalton Alum Play at The Barclays Center
The Dalton Girls Varsity Basketball team kicked off their Thanksgiving break with a game at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The girls faced an inexperienced, but talented team from Grace Church. The excitement of playing and the shear size of the NBA court was daunting, but the team played well and claimed victory in the end. Many stayed to watch Dalton alumnus Henry Lowe '12 play for the Villanova Wildcats.
Henry's team defeated the Michigan Wolverines 60-55 in the Legends Classic at the Barclays. It was a great experience for all of the girls and the coaching staff, making memories that will last a lifetime.
Dalton is looking into continuing this new tradition to play at the Barclays every year.
