Dalton Students Achieve Scholastic Honors in Writing

Dalton Middle and High School students demonstrated their literary talents once again this year by participating in the Scholastic Awards of New York City.  66 Dalton students won awards or earned honorable mentions in this prestigious annual competition...
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards date back to 1923. Teens in grades seven through twelve can apply in 28 categories of art and writing for the chance to earn scholarships and have their works exhibited or published.

Many luminaries judge the visual and literary arts. Some are past award recipients. Panelists look for works that best exemplify originality, technical skill and the emergence of a personal voice or vision.

The Awards continue to be the longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in the U.S., and the largest source of scholarships for young artists and writers.  Access the blog to read more about the Scholastic Awards.
