On Thursday, October 23, FP parents and children gathered to hear and discuss stories tied to this year's theme "Going Forth Unafraid – Courage and Perseverance."  Before listening to parent readers, children decorated "Band-Aid Box Brigade" care boxes for children at Mount Sinai Hospital, made bravery bead bracelets and participated in a real-time slideshow of First Programmers’ “most courageous” poses.  All guests were also treated to a special musical performance about bravery by the DaltonKnights and MS/HS Music Teacher Chris Landriau.
