MS Debate Club
The Middle School Debate Club attended the MSPDP East Coast Regionals Tournament at The Hackley School. Students debated against 94 teams from over 30 different schools from regions east of the Mississippi River.
Topics included paying ransom for hostages, repealing the 22nd Amendment, and the release of genetically modified insects. Bryson Wiese '19 and Toby Edelstein '19 placed 8th and 9th for individual speaker awards respectively. Bryson Wiese '19 and Sehan Choi '19 won the 8th place team award. Ayla Jeddy'19, Atessa Savitt'19 and Alex Lehman'19 - 12th place team. Two other Dalton teams also placed in the top 15.
