Houses 14 and 43 Learn About Eid al-Adha
Kindergarten (House 14) and third grade students (House 43) learned about Eid al-Adha. Eid al-Adha, the "Festival of the Sacrifice", is a holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide each year with prayers and social gatherings. Durre Nabi, Hana's '25 and Faiz's '28 mom, visited both houses to share some of the traditions that take place during this holiday. After Durre's presentation, the children enjoyed rice pudding and a vegetable samosa.
