Third graders in House 35 kicked off their archaeology unit with hands-on adventures!
From exploring Indigenous rock shelters in Inwood Park to uncovering artifacts like pottery shards at our very own archaeological dig, third graders are discovering how archeology helps us learn about the people who came before us. A recent visit to the Glenview Historic Mansion helped them connect real-life artifacts to everyday life during the Gilded Age, bringing their classroom learning to life.
