DTW Explores Architecture Through Movement

Dalton High School's Dance Theater Workshop (DTW) took center stage last week, captivating audiences with innovative and visually striking performances centered on the theme of Architecture.
This year’s production featured 11 original pieces, each drawing inspiration from landmarks, structures, and different architectural eras. The dances showcased the talent of our High School performers and student-choreographers as they used movement to interpret the form and function of built spaces.

Led by DTW Director & Dance Teacher Randi Sloan, students transformed their fall-semester concepts into fully realized works, supported by professional-caliber props, costumes, lighting, and sets. The result was a dynamic and cohesive show that spotlighted not only the technical talent of dancers but also the dedication and hard work of the entire production team.

As the stage lights dimmed at the end of the show, the resounding applause confirmed that the Dalton community had witnessed an extraordinary display of creativity and artistry. Congratulations to all involved in the production!
