Four Dalton Students Win First Place Honors at Providence College HS Programming Contest
Four senior student programmers demonstrated their superior mathematical and programming skills at the 30th Annual High School Programming Contest, held on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Providence College.
They were among 48 students from 12 high schools in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York, who competed in four-person teams during the competition. Using two PCs and two designated computer programming languages, students wrote original programs that correctly solved complex, hypothetical math problems.
