On Nov 15, 2016, the Community Life & Diversity Committee welcomed Ms. Alexis McGill Johnson of the Perception Institute for the topic discussion, Perception: the Trigger of Our Reactions. During the workshop audience members were able to learn about implicit bias as a universal phenomenon and its impact on everyday life, the actual science of perception and how the brain processes information, as well as solutions for transforming perception. Ms. McGill Johnson has been kind enough to share more information on the topic, which we are sharing with the Dalton community.
