In his spare time, Adam Lanphier, MS/HS Mandarin Teacher, has been translating Chinese children's books for Chinese Educational Publications Import and Export Company. On Friday, January 27, the day before Chinese New Year's Eve, he visited the First Program to read one of his translations to first and second graders. Who Wants Candy Hawberries? is a story about candy, cats, and Beijing in the winter.
