Dalton MS and HS students took part in the American Math Contest. These competitions incorporate curriculum materials that build problem-solving skills and mathematical knowledge. The test challenges students' skills in algebra, geometry and touches on pre-calculus, although having taken calculus previously is not required. Nine Dalton students earned Certificate of Distinction awards and three earned Certificate of Achievement awards.
