Thank You and Updates - A Message From the Notre Dame Club
Readers may recall an earlier Sunday Blast announcement by the Dalton Notre Dame School Club who used a crowdfunding website and video to raise community awareness and funds for the Haitian school for girls that is in desperate need of financial resources. For the past 34 years, Dalton has supported this school through the guidance of beloved language teacher Michele Viard.
Thanks to their crowdfunding effort, inspired by the club's senior leaders Alana Eiland '17 and Georgia Gallant '17, the Dalton Community focused its efforts to raise over $30,000, going well beyond their original goal. The club leaders created a video designed to thank the generous members of the Dalton community who gave generously.
The club reports in their video that 100% of the proceeds will be directed toward the financial needs of the Notre-Dame du Perpétuel Secours school. The club's current objectives are to:
