The Brooklyn, Queens, Downtowners, and Uptowners committees focus on issues and concerns of Dalton families living outside Manhattan as well as in downtown and uptown neighborhoods. The committees work to meet the special social needs of families in these various geographic locations. Many families live in an extended urban community that requires attention to communication systems, logistics, and special transportation issues. The committees research and develop creative solutions to (and function as community resources for) the special needs of students commuting to and from these different parts of the city, and beyond.
