Dalton Computer Science Students Attend the NYC Computer Science Opportunity Fair

The NYC Computer Science Opportunity Fair (CS Fair) is New York City's largest annual college and career event for high school students interested in technology and computer science. Members of the organizing committee of the Dalton Conference Bit By Bit, dedicated to promoting girls in computer science, attended the NYC CS Fair. Over fifty software companies, universities, after-school, summer programs and corporations were on hand to encourage New York City students to make computer science a part of their future.
Dalton students Leyla Kamshad '19, Lily Kafka '18, Claire Keenan-Kurgan '18 and Natalie Melas-Kyriazi '19 were able to encourage over (100) high school girls to attend Bit By Bit. Also on hand was New York City’s new Education Chancellor Richard Carranza who offered his support for the Dalton mission "breaking the barrier for girls in tech."
