Food Network Celebrity Star Chef Jet Tila Serves Asian Dishes

Food Network Celebrity Chef Jet Tila supervised Dalton's 89th Street kitchen on May 3, 2018, to deliver a delectable Asian menu for students, faculty, and staff. Lines were nearly out the door to collect and garnish deep oblong bowls of Chicken Teriyaki, Sauteed Spinach, udon noodles, and matchstick carrots, steeped in Soy Broth, and artfully prepared and plated by Dalton's able cafeteria staff. Chef Jet was very complimentary of their work. Also on the menu, were Hot and Sour Egg Drop Soup and Asian Kale Slaw with Ginger Sun-butter Dressing.
Dalton Director of Food Service Operations Leon Stallone invited Chef Jet, who is one of many famous chefs connected with Dalton food service company Flik's Star Chefs. No stranger to interacting with an audience, Chef Jet is a recognized restaurateur and Culinary Ambassador to Thailand. During each lunch period, he commanded the cafeteria microphone to raffle off several signed copies of his recent cookbook, 101 Asian Dishes You Need to Cook Before You Die. Many students recognized Chef Jet from appearances on "Chopped," "Cutthroat Kitchen," "Iron Chef America," "Guy's Grocery Games," and "The Best Thing I Ever Ate."
