Head of School Jim Best Welcomes Annual Fund Volunteers at Kick-Off Breakfast
At this week's opening meeting, Head of School Jim Best thanked Annual Fund volunteers for their willingness to help this year’s fundraising effort. He said, “One reason I’m so grateful to you is that your work serves all of us. You serve a common good -- the betterment of our diverse community, and the advancement of Dalton’s mission -- that unites all of us. Thank you for all that you do!”
Annual Fund Director Colleen Grimes congratulated parent volunteers for helping Dalton reach a record-breaking 94% parent participation last year. Colleen also reminded the group that participation demonstrates our community's strength and a shared commitment and is key to successful fundraising initiatives. Campaign Director Hannah Cobin reminded volunteers to urge community members to make their Annual Fund gift first, before making a Campaign gift or pledge.
Community members should look for their Annual Fund appeal in the mail soon, or they can make their gift now at www.dalton.org/makeagift. Dalton's Advancement team looks forward to working in close partnership with Annual Fund volunteers for another successful year!
