Dalton’s First Digital Arch Day Celebrates Students
On Thursday, each division gathered virtually for Dalton’s first ever virtual Arch Day celebration.
FP and MS community members commemorated the day with joyful online Arch Day programs which featured House photos and a scroll including each student’s name. The HS engaged in a live Zoom event with Class of 2020 Student Speaker Phoebe Cahill ’20 and award presentations: Jamaal Spence ’20 received the Billy Farrell award and Nina Sloan ’20 received the Warren Johnson award.
All enjoyed this time-honored tradition in which Dalton celebrated student accomplishments and said goodbye to departing faculty and staff. Although students couldn’t actually walk through the Arch, the spirit of the day remained intact symbolically—marking the end of the current school year and sending students forth to next year.
