Contemporary Dance and Improvisation Class Premiere Screendance While in Quarantine
Joanna Brotman's Contemporary Dance and Improvisation class members choreographed, performed, and filmed their own screendance while in quarantine last Spring.
Students cultivated their dance technique and artistry while exploring dance filmmaking skills such as framing for the camera, designing transitions, and shooting B roll (all the shots that aren't the dancing!.) We hope you enjoy their short film "Abode."
