The Concord Review was founded in March of 1987 and is the only quarterly journal in the world dedicated to publishing academic history papers by high school students. Aki, who began his writing process in the summer after 10th grade, identified sources and conducted independent research on the history of apples. His essay will be available in Concord Review’s upcoming spring edition.
