Dalton Community Members Beautify Local School and Park with Publicolor
The Dalton PA Community Service Committee teamed up with Publicolor, a youth development program that encourages disengaged students to stay in school, to help to transform the PS 240 STEM Institute of Manhattan School playground and a public park on West 113th Street.
More than two dozen MS and HS students and parents rolled up their sleeves on a hot and sunny Saturday, working in Covid-friendly shifts, to colorfully paint the exterior of a school in an underserved community.
