PA Service Committee Coordinates East River Park Cleanup
On a sweltering day, more than two dozen Dalton community members teamed up with the NYC Parks Department to help keep a beloved park beautiful.
Armed with grabbers and garbage bags, the Dalton PA Community Service Committee-led group met on the East River Esplanade, ready to clean! First Program, Middle School, and High School students and families worked their way down the grassy swath of the esplanade that winds along the East River.
Despite the heat, there was a true sense of camaraderie and purpose as the group received a thumbs up from the bikers, sunbathers, and dog walkers who love this stretch of the park.
