Dalton Dining Services Partners with Local Farms Through GrowNYC
This week, Dalton received a GrowNYC delivery with locally-grown produce and other food items, including Gala Apples from Medina, New York, and Kale from Cutchogue, New York. To keep the community up-to-date on the latest deliveries, Dining Services has created a local partners dry-erase board.
GrowNYC’s mission is to improve New York City's quality of life through environmental programs that transform communities block by block and empower all New Yorkers to secure a clean and healthy environment for future generations.
As the season changes and the weather gets warmer, the School looks forward to welcoming new fresh and delicious locally-grown items!
