Benjamin Leon '28 Recognized by Scope Magazine
Congratulations to 6th grader Benjamin Leon '28 on winning Scope's Paired Texts Contest from the April 2022 issue of the Scholastic magazine.
Scope's Editorial Director Kristin Lewis, wrote to Benjamin, "Your comparative essay on the histories of double Dutch and skateboarding was informative and well-organized. We especially enjoyed your point that the two sports can be played on any terrain!”
Benjamin earned a copy of Mike Lupica’s Defending Champ as his contest prize. With this honor, he sets the school record as the fourth Dalton 6th grader to win a Scope award this year.
