Canoe Building Project Underway at 89th Street
This semester a community boat-building project — a new, exciting endeavor on the 13th floor of 89th Street — began with High School students constructing a 12-foot wood-planked solo canoe.
The project is part of the HS woodworking class but is also an open community-build for students and faculty during J period on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2:30-3:30 PM.
