It's Tradition: Dalton’s PA Group Jewish Families & Culture Celebrates Purim!
Dalton’s PA group Jewish Families & Culture celebrated Purim, Jewish joy, and community with a hamentashen (cookie) giveaway.
Students and staff sampled and took hamentashen to share, as it is customary to give gifts of food to friends and neighbors in celebration of the holiday, commemorating the salvation of Persian Jews in the 5th Century BCE.
