Dalton Competes at Downtown Manhattan Invitational Math Competition
Dalton competed on Saturday, December 16 in the Downtown Manhattan Invitational Math Competition at Stuyvesant High School. There were 57 teams with 6 high school students on each team competing in various math problem rounds.
Dalton came in second place with Jonathan Henkin ‘25, Boone Davis ‘25, Shreyas Rajaram ‘26, Charlie Kim ‘25, Miles Gumbs ‘25 and Arav Mehta ‘25 competing. In addition to the school award, individual awards were given to Shreyas for 5th, Miles for 11th, and Boone for 16th. Students had a great time solving challenging math problems individually, as well as collaboratively.
