CWS, which has partnered with Dalton in the past, brought attention to Central American refugees in the US and the work they do for them and other displaced people around the world. As part of their Service Learning strand in House, the 7th and 8th Grade students learned about migrants and asylum seekers throughout history and today. The students generated questions for the CWS presenters, which led to an engaging and informative assembly.  

The students drove the idea to learn more about the migrant crisis and how to help, especially in our city. The 8th Grade partnered with CWS and held a supply drive to benefit the migrant families in our area.
