Head of School Emerita Ellen C. Stein attended and greeted many former Dalton parents who had returned to 89th Street. Before the reception began, four high school students led Parents of Alumni on tours to see facility updates. 

Thanks to Chair Sally Vallimarescu P’08, ‘09, ‘13 and Beth Softness P’14, ‘16, Dalton’s Director of Advancement Communications and Engagement, for organizing the event, and to the enthusiastic Committee members for conducting outreach to encourage attendance. “Of course, we’re thrilled when our children graduate and “go forth unafraid,” but we lose a community of parents with whom we shared so many childhood milestones,” said Sally. “I was thrilled for the opportunity to get this group together, and we’re eager to plan future programming for Parents of Alumni.” Click here to view the photo gallery.
